Tom Wood Volkswagen Helps To Make Free Throws for Heart Event a Success!

Tom Wood Volkswagen was a proud sponsor of the Giving Hearts a Hand 'Free Throws for Heart' charity event held Sunday at Banker's Life Fieldhouse. The event cost $20 and included a free throw contest for boys and girls ages 8-18 on the Indiana Pacers' court, a photograph at center court, a t-shirt, and a ticket to that night's Bobcats vs. Pacers game.
Giving Hearts a Hand is a local organization that looks to provide funding for cardiac screenings in high school athletes. Working with Community Heart and Vascular and Franklin Memorial Hospital, Giving Hearts a Hand hopes to start cardiac screenings in local high schools in June of this year.
