Tom Wood Automotive is a proud sponsor of Gleaners FoodBank, and we are pleased to partner with them again for the Souper Bowl ofCaring. Designed to capitalize on the excitement generated by Super Bowl weekend, the Souper Bowl of Caring wants to turn that energy into a positive force for the community. Donations of non-perishable food items can be brought to any Indianapolis Tom Wood Automotive location between now and February 5th.

The mission statement of the Souper Bowl of Caring is "Using the energy of the Super Bowl to mobilize youth in a united national effort to care for people in their local communities who are hungry and those in need. Transform the time around the Super Bowl into the nation's largest celebration of giving and serving." 'Free Throws for Heart' Charity Competition Lets Your Child Play Like a Pacer!

Give your kids the opportunity of a lifetime, and help someone else's child reach their dreams! Tom Wood Subaru and Tom Wood Volkswagen are partnering with non-profit group Giving Hearts a Hand and the Indiana Pacers in hosting the 'Free Throws for Heart' fundraiser on Sunday, February 19th. Giving Hearts a Hand is a local organization that looks to provide funding for cardiac screenings in high school athletes.

Volkswagen's New Super Bowl Ad is Coming!

With the Super Bowl fast approaching, Volkswagen's creative team is hard at work putting the finishing touches on an ad that will top last year's overwhelming favorite "The Force."  Volkswagen has announced that the ad will feature the all-new 2012 Beetle and will run for 60 whole seconds, at a cost of nearly $7 million.

Check out Volkswagen's Futuristic Electric Bicycle!

Volkswagen is working hard at being green while keeping mobile with their innovative electric bicycle, called the Bik.e.  It is just a concept vehicle for now, but with such handy features as folding small enough to fit in your car trunk and recharging while it's there, we hope that it makes it to production someday soon!
