2022 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0T S

2022 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0T S 4MOTION â€" All-Wheel Drive and the Refreshed Interior

The 2022 model year is the one to know about in a used Tiguan. That's when Volkswagen refreshed the exterior styling, redesigned the interior, and made the digital instrument cluster standard on every trim â€" including this base S. Paired here with 4MOTION all-wheel drive, it's a well-equipped compact SUV at the most accessible point in the lineup.

The engine is VW's 2.0L TSI turbocharged four-cylinder, 184 hp and 221 lb-ft, driving all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic. Peak torque arrives at 1,600 rpm, low enough that it pulls away from stoplights cleanly rather than downshifting for it. EPA estimates land at 22 city / 29 highway MPG with AWD.
