2012 Honda Pilot EX-L

2012 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD â€" Eight Seats, Leather, and Honda Durability

Looking for a three-row SUV that hauls people and gear without complaint? This 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD seats eight, not seven â€" a real advantage over most three-row crossovers â€" and pairs that with leather, heated seats, and a moonroof. The Pilot's boxy shape is exactly why it works: more usable cargo room and easier third-row access than the swoopier SUVs that replaced it.

Power comes from Honda's 3.5L SOHC i-VTEC V6 producing 250 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Variable Cylinder Management shuts down cylinders during light cruising to save fuel, and with 4WD this Pilot is rated to tow up to 4,500 lbs when properly equipped â€" more than double the front-drive version.

Standout features on this EX-L:

Four-wheel drive with 4,500-lb towing capacity
Eight-passenger seating across three rows
Leather-trimmed seating with heated front seats
Power moonroof
10-way power driver's seat with 4-way power passenger seat
Tri-zone automatic climate control
Rearview camera
Seven-speaker audio with subwoofer and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
Steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls
60/40 split third row that folds flat into the floor
Roof rails and alloy wheels
Full airbag suite with Vehicle Stability Assist
