He explained everything they would be doing and gave me the information needed to claim my $15 off my next oil change. Mr. Alexander also explained the frequency of my oil changes, 1x per year or every 10k miles. I was unaware that beetles don't get changed as often as my previous vehicles. "Returning from New York to Oklahoma on a family trip. Car hit 60,000 miles on the trip up to New York. On Monday Morning I called FX Caprara Volkswagen in Watertown NY first to try and get a Tuesday morning or Wednesday morning appointment. They could not get the car in for 4 days. Called Cornwall Volkswagen in Cornwall, Ontario. They could not get the vehicle in till the following Monday. We were leaving new York on Wednesday. Had a hotel reservation in Indianapolis for Wednesday night. Contacted Tom Woods VW in Indianapolis, IN. Told us to drive in first thing Thursday and they would take care of us no problem. Great service. Wish they had a dealership in Tulsa OK."

"My family and I were headed to Indiana from Missouri to a soccer tournament on a Friday evening. Our car broke down on the highway around 10:00 pm and we had our car towed to the nearest VW dealership. Once we got to the VW dealership at 1:00am, we noticed that the service department was closed on Saturdays! We had to get back on the road by Sunday in order to go back home for work and school so we looked for another VW dealership. Tom Wood was the nearest VW dealership to our location. We called Tom Wood and told them our situation and they suggested we get the car towed in to them as soon as possible to see if they can take a look at the car. We were able to get our car towed to Tom Wood by 1:30pm on Saturday and about 15 to 20 minutes later, Denver in te Service department stated that they were going to get my car in to take a look at it. About 20 to 30 minutes after that, Denver informed me that they were able to fix the car and we would be able to drive off the lot by 4:30pm on Saturday! Wonderful news after a long and tiring weekend. We were pleased and grateful for the exceptional customer service we received at this dealership. "Ok, I was nervous, I was excited, and I was unaware of how exhausting and thrilling getting a new car would be. Being a college graduate student, out of state, without proper knowledge of my credit score made me a difficult client and I had gone to a couple other dealerships being told the same thing- 'maybe we can help you', 'maybe we can find a price that fits you', 'you may need to get a cosigner', or simply 'well...you are going to be a hard one to deal with'. That is until I came to Tom Wood Volkswagon and met with Matt Kennedy. He instantly welcomed me with his great energy and made me feel that perhaps I was looking at dealerships the wrong way. I wasn't expecting much, I only needed a vehicle that was newer and safer than mine- a 99 dodge durango with about 300,000 miles on it! It was time for a new vehicle I could drive without worries of stopping and wondering what this new sound or odd smell or mysterious leak was while on the road....which is not a fun feeling. After telling Matt about my situation, he explained the process of purchasing a new vehicle in a simple, direct manner while assuring me I was not an impossible client. There were programs to help me and getting a safer and newer vehicle was easier than how other dealerships were doing their business with me. Before I knew it, I was approved (without a cosigner) for a 2011 Jetta Sedan with 30,000 miles! I couldn't believe it- I was expecting the best I could get with my situation was nothing newer than a 2005 vehicle with about 100,000 miles. I was literally shaking in my chair, almost crying with disbelief and Matt had to remind me I was not dreaming (probably multiple times) and I would be able to take the car home that very day. I could not have been happier and I love my Jetta. The new, safe feeling of being on the road is priceless to me, not to mention I can enjoy driving again. Within an hour the problem was found, and they could have the new part the next day, and a loaner would be finished. They called us to tell us when the car would be ready, and again to tell us that it was ready to be picked up. Mr. David kept us up to date thru the entire process.
