Four-Wheel Alignment
Let Tom Wood Volkswagen Align All Four of Your Wheels
Our State-of-the-Art Process
Once your car is up in our shop, we attach cameras to different parts of your wheel. Once they're attached, they give a reading of the three angles of a wheel: toe, caster, and camber. Toe is the angle of the front of the tire pivoting left and right, caster is the angle of the mount that holds the wheel in place, rotated forward or back, and camber is the angle of the top of the wheel, leaning inwards or outwards. Once we have these measurements, we set to work adjusting those angles back to the manufacturer's recommended angles, and then your car comes back to you with all four wheels aligned.

The Time to Align Comes for Us All
Your owner's manual has the best recommendation for your car, but most manufacturers recommend a four-wheel alignment every two to three years. However, if you start noticing problems, you may want to come in sooner. If you're feeling vibration, heavy or soft steering, or wheel drift while you drive, you may need an alignment sooner rather than later. We're happy to take care of you in our express service center, which gets your car to you quickly so that you can be back on the road.Â
